FIM SPEA Motor Cross Event

Bloomfield was the gold level sponsor for this North Down Borough Council hosted event in April 2008.
Held over a weekend it comprised a round of the European Championship on the Saturday and the UK’s only World Championship round on the Sunday. Great competition and cold but sunny weather encouraged crowds in excess of 25,000 with many being visitors to Northern Ireland. Publicising the event, 5 times world champion, Dougie Lampkin visited Bloomfield and was given special dispensation to bring his bike on the mall!
