Emmerdale Extravaganza Print
Bloomfield was programme sponsor for the Emmerdale Extravaganza.
This event started in 2003 when George Walker (George Walker Events) and Chris Chitell (Eric Pollard in the show) decided almost on a whim to organise a fund raising event involving the Emmerdale cast. They soon decided that the beneficiary was to be the Anthony Nolan Trust which helps take back lives from leukaemia.

Having held the event in Aberdeen for 5 years 2008 was the first of what is expected to be a 5 year stretch in Northern Ireland. Hosted by the Ulster Folk and Transport Museum in Cultra it raised in the region of £120,000 for the charity.

Part of the sponsorship package was a fourball in the Emmerdale Golf Classic which Bloomfield gave away as a prize in an easy to enter competition. A chance to meet Paddy the Vet was the prize in a competition run around the time of the Centre’s Wet Nose Day.
