Roll up, reduce, re-use and recycle at ‘ECOday’ on Saturday 25 October 2008.
Are you keen to go greener? Why not build a Bug Hotel with The Ulster Wildlife Trust, or get into the groove with the world famous Really Rubbish Orchestra. Put your pedal power to the test on our incredible Smoothie Making Bicycle or make a date with Robbie the solar powered robot. You can run for your life from the Bloomfield Eco Beast (he’s quite friendly really) or get busy making Bio Badges on the Conservation Volunteers’ Green Machine. Kids can climb aboard the Arc 21 Bus for some serious artwork, or go potty with paper with our paper recycling workshop from Bryson House. Too much like hard work? Hop along with Kirk the Cricket from The Woodland Trust and find out why he’s so wild about woods. | | What a load of garbage! Add some bling to your bin with our resident Eco Artist, Katie Blue. Make a five-minute-monster, a scary spider, or a blood-curdling ghostie on a stick at her Trash to Treasure Art Workshops that will run throughout the day.
