Citybeat ‘Young Star Search’ Heat at Bloomfield

The ever popular Citybeat ‘Young Star Search’ is back. As a whole last year’s event enjoyed a massive response when over half a million people logged onto YouTube to watch performances and nearly 30,000 listener votes cast.

This year the contest has been extended to include an additional category for 'young adults' so we’ll be looking for Northern Ireland's best singing talent in 3 categories from the age of eight to twenty-five.

Winners will receive a selection of great prizes including a massive shopping spree, the opportunity to record their very own CD single with airplay and the chance to jet off with easyJet to a top European destination of their choice.

Anyone interested should hurry to book an audition space as demand is expected to be high. To enter apply online at www.citybeat.co.uk spaces will be allocated on a first come basis and the closing date is 23rd April 2010.
